Q. Where are you located?

Q. Why do I need to hire a Professional Makeup Artist?

A.    Here are a few of the reasons why you should always consider booking with a Professional Makeup Artist for your Wedding Day, Birthday Party, Photo Shoot or for any other special event. If any of these apply to you, then it’s probably worth hiring a Professional Makeup Artist.

--You are unsure what colors to use and how best to apply makeup for the photography.

--You want the make up to last the entire day.

 --You want your wedding or special event pictures to look flawless.   

--You want to be pampered on your wedding day or special event day. 

--You have spent so much money on your photographer, dress, shoes, jewelry, limo and reception hall. Why would you want to skimp out on your face?      


Q. How long does a Makeup application take?

A.   It can take anywhere from 45 minutes-1 hour.


Q. how long will my makeup last?

A.    The makeup will last all day (18+ hours).

Of course, you will may have to touch up your lips throughout the day with lite gloss but Bridal Parties I include a touch-up lip kit. 


Q. Do you offer Trials? Is the Trial included in my Wedding Day price?

A.  I do require doing a Trial before your big day for the Bride but it is NOT included in your quoted bridal party rate.  Doing a trial run will help insure that you are happy with your makeup look before the big day.  Having your trial behind you, you can sit back and relax on your wedding day knowing that you will love the look that you chose.


Q. What is included in the Trial?

A.   You can expect that your trial will last anywhere from 60-90 mins. First, we will discuss all of the details of your wedding (Dresses, flowers, theme, etc.) We will then discuss what makeup, if any, you wear on a normal basis. We will go over your ideas and what looks you were envisioning for your wedding day. We will look over any pictures that you have brought with you and also at my portfolio. Once you have decided, we will start with the makeup application and tweak anything we need to.  I want you to be a 100% happy with your look and I will make that happen.


Q. Do you require a Retainer (Deposit)?

A.  Yes, I do require a 50% retainer in order to hold your date for any of my services.  Your date will not be held without a signed contract and/or paid retainer.


Q. How soon should I book my makeup services?

A.  For special events as early as possible. My appointment slots are first come first served. For Bridal...I start booking weddings 6 months to a year in the sooner, the absolute better!!


q. What size party can you accommodate?

A.  I can do up to 15 people provided we have enough time. It all depends on what time you have to be ready that day. For parties of more than 5 I will contract another Professional Makeup Artist to assist me.


Q. Do you travel? Do you charge a travel fee?

A.   Traveling is what I love about my job! I know that on a stressful wedding day it is much easier for someone to come to you so that you can enjoy and relax on your special day. I do happen to charge a travel fee. 



Q. I am not sure what makeup look I want on my special day. Can you help?

A.  Definitely!! If you are not sure what look you needing or looking for I would love to help. I try my best to ask a variety of questions in order to get an idea of what you may want. Remember, it is your wedding day or special occasion so if you aren’t sure I will usually stick with something more natural. We can always start out that way and work our way to a more dramatic look.


Q. What types of makeup products do you use? Are they good for photography?

A.  I use all professional products in my kit and most of the brands you have not even heard of. There are a ton of lines now that are made by artists for artists.   


Q. Do you use airbrush makeup?

A.   All of my makeup applications are by done by hand but rest assured my makeup applications will have a complete flawless finish just the same as if I would have used Airbrushing if not better.


Q. Do you have experience with Ethnic/Acne/Mature skin types?

A.   Absolutely!! I specialize in custom-blended makeup to match any skin tone no matter how dark or light. I LOVE working with the many different shades and tones of beauty! I also have a full range of professional skin care products that I use to prepare delicate, mature, sensitive or acne-prone skin before makeup application to achieve the very best results.


Q. What if I’m not used to wearing makeup?

A.   No Problem! Most of,  if not all of clients do not wear Makeup on a daily basis. I am here to ensure my clients look their absolute best. If you are unsure about makeup, we will work together to create a look that enhances your best features and plays down the areas you may not be as happy with. I don’t want you to feel that I’ve transformed you into someone no one recognizes anymore – unless that’s how you want to look!


Q. What methods of payments do you accept?

A.   I accept Cash, Credit Cards and Apple Pay.


Q. Is your pricing negotiable? Are there any discounts?

A.   No, Unfortunately my rates are non-negotiable. When it comes to hiring a Professional Makeup Artist for On-location or Personal Makeup Services, you are definitely getting what you pay for. When you hire me, you are hiring an experienced professional that comes to YOU. The level of skill and expertise that you can expect is far superior to hiring your friend or a cosmetic sales-person from the mall.

***Bridal Packages are normally only available between January-April and are only for parties of 5 or more that are in the Baltimore Metro Area.***


Q. I love your work!!!! So how do I book you for my wedding date?

A.  GREAT! Simply click on the CONTACT tab and fill out the contact form. From there we will set up a 30-minute Bridal Consultation Call,  Make a date for a Trial, and go over contract details.  Once the completed contract and retainer are in hand, your date will be officially booked.
